My future friend with 4 paws!🐾
In the last period I have had the opportunity to think about how to overcome one of the fears that I have been carrying for a long time, the fear of animals. And after spending time thinking about it, I thought one of the best things to do is adopt a small dog and take care of it. I thought that if I try to understand my dog, to grow it in the best way, I will be able to become attached to it and overcome my fear. So now I’m doing as much research as possible to understand what is best to know before adopting a dog, and how the adoption process works and I wanted to share this information with you, and especially for those who like me have this phobia.
So it is important to be be sure of your choice.
After that you can call a shelter and ask to organize a visit so you can meet the dog you want to adopt. Once you find the dog that you like and you prepared yourself and your home for its arrival, start the adoption process by filling out the necessary documents. You will also initially need to pay the adoption fee. An important point not to forget is to contact a veterinary center and complete all the necessary checks.
The most important things to know before adopting a dog is that it will take time, it will cost money, it will need space and it will need you!
Just like having a child, adopting a dog means taking responsibility for a living being whose needs often come before our desires. And if you don’t feel ready, and you don’t have enough time to devote to it, it is better to postpone the adoption for another time. But you must know that they will love you unconditionally and protect you. They will stay there and keep you company without ever getting tired. They will give in your hands their life and trust you always and in any case..that’s so cute!
I hope you enjoyed this little blog and that it was helpful to you for new information.
