LA DESIRADE is located east of the Guadeloupe archipelago, it is a geological natural reserve. For years the Island has turned to ecotourism in order to protect its precious environment. The specialties of the Desirade are fishing and the breeding of goats. Each year, the inhabitants of the island organize the Fete des Cabrits / Chevres ”La Fet A Kabrit en creole ” more precisely in April The Festival lasts several days. And in August, there’s the Seafarers’ Feast. During these 2 events, the inhabitants of Guadeloupe, the neighboring Islands and everywhere else come to the Island to celebrate but also to buy fresh Fish and Cabrits / Goats of very good quality. LES SAINTES is located in the South of Guadeloupe. It is a volcanic island. The specialty of the Island is ” Tourment d’Amour ”, it is a round cake flavored with cinnamon and stuffed with guava jam, banana, coconut or passion fruit. http://www.guadeloupe-islands.com/destinations/les-saintes/

MARIE-GALANTE is located in the South East of Guadeloupe. The important events are the Marie Galante cycling tour which takes place between June, July and August as well as the Terre de Blues Festival which is the Music Festival which is organized every year in June over several days. Many local, Caribbean and international artists are invited. SAINT MARTIN is an Island located in the North of Guadeloupe, divided into 2 parts, in the North it is the French part (France) and in the South it is the Dutch part (Netherlands). The peculiarity of this Island is that it is also very visited for holidays but also because the population speaks several languages including French, English, Spanish, Creole and Dutch. http://www.stmartinisland.org/
