Running for 14km along the Pedieos River, Cyprus’ longest river, between the Lakatamia and Strovolos municipalities, is the Pedieos Park. Although in the summer the river is non existant, it’s still a nice place to be. It is seperated into two paths, one for bikes and one for people, also due to its length it makes for a good place to run and cycle. Furthermore because of the trees on both sides of the paths, it’s also quite shaded, so that it’s a bit cooler than when under the sun the entire time. There are also some football pitches and basketball courts as you go further up the path from Strovolos.
